I was getting worried that they didn't know where they were going, but my faith has been restored. Of course I'm sure I'll become frustrated a bit by some episodes, but I think they're really going to ramp it up closing out the season. I mean, they do want us to watch it next season.

And it appears Walt was able to manifest the bird crashing into the window at his parents'. Or it escaped from a Dharma zoological experiment. There are a few theories about the bears natural abilty to blend into their environment and almost become invisible. Remember a horse also appeared to Kate, and Jack's father appeared to Jack.

Or maybe it just gave Sawyer something to shoot.

Okay, I watched it last night.

Did anyone else notice that Mr. Echo called Locke "Jack" the first time he saw him in the hatch? Both my daughter and I thought we heard that.

I still say this story is very fluid. The writers are very much manipulating the plot based on viewer's responses.

So what's up with the "airliner" mobile in the nursery? A bit sophisticated for a baby, eh? It does make you wonder if the "other" do cause the crashes.

I think the "smoke" monster is a Dharma ESP or electromagnetic (or both) experiment gone wrong. I believe it manifests people's fears.
